Needed a quick caffeine recharge and stumbled across this walk-up coffee shop. Just steps away from musicians and artists in the square, this place hit the spot. There was one person working, however he was very quick about the service! I kept it simple, and ordered a cold brew with cream, can't really go wrong there. By the looks of the line, this is a pretty sought after place, pretty hidden too.

My husband and I wandered about the French quarter one cold morning. On our way to Congo Square we came across this coffee shop. The staff was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. They didn't take long to get us our order. We were off before we knew it! I really liked the drinks we ordered. I will be by again on our next trip out to NOLA.

Cute little coffee shop with quality coffee drinks! My friends and I stumbled upon this quaint coffee shop while strolling around Jackson Square and were in need of an afternoon pick-me-up in the middle of a warm spring Saturday. I ordered a Mexican Vanilla Latte over ice with oat milk. It wasn't overly sweet and quite refreshing, and the oat milk was a nice alternative! We love to try coffee shops other than the typical Starbucks, and we'll make our way back when in NOLA the next time!

Good espresso. Good cold brew. This is a bare bones specialty coffee shop with really socially awkward staff that repeatedly tell you to "close the door please". They should invest in some kind of apparatus that will assist in this instead of continuously reminding customers to do it. It will be well worth it. Spitfire is definitely a grab-and-go spot for better than average coffee right in the heart of the French district. I liked the fact that they use different coffee roasters though the baristas had little to nothing to say about the coffees.

Follow your nose to this gem. The reviews were on point, thank you fellow yelpers. We entered & the smell of the coffee's & ingredients they craft to make each drink with precision put is in AWW! My wife had the Tres Flores & wouldn't share it at first until I promissed to come back & buy her another & the coffee they used to make it. She said its the best cup(s) of coffee she ever had. I had the Cuban cortado & it was strong. Although small in size, dont be fooled...it packs gitty up. I was all smiles this day. If theres a line, spark up a convo with a local. And when you get to the baristas, they will greet you with that NOLA hospitality. One day, after making a round through the French market & people watching at Jackson Square..we knew it was Spitfire coffee we needed in our system...loved it!

Small place in the heart of it all! I loved my drink (iced las tres flores). Nice, floral, smooth, refreshing, pretty - what more can you ask for! The drink was not overly sweet, with a perfect amount of ice. The lavender and rose was in the perfect amounts, and not overpowering. Service was nice, and the barista seemed very passionate in making the drinks! I wish I had a Spitfire Expresso Bar where I live!

On my last afternoon in NOLA before my flight home to LA, I wanted to cap off my indulgent eating with a iced coffee. Spitfire Expresso Bar specializes in pour overs but a cold drink is a must in the New Orleans humidity. The Tres Flores (expresso, lavender infused milk, orange blossom simple syrup, and rose petals) outrivals ANY specialty coffee drink I've had in the West Coast... The coffee beans even had floral notes. It is simply the BEST and most unique latte I've ever had and priced fairly at $6. The cashier and barista were a pleasure to talk to. The barista wanted to check out all the LA coffee places as a gift to himself after graduation and I shared with him all my favorites.
